 Cafeteria
Breakfast and lunch are served daily. Lunches may be prepaid by the day, week, or month. Payment may be made through mealpay.com or directly to the cafeteria or to your child's homeroom teacher prior to the beginning of each school day. Make checks payable to Lincoln Elementary Lunchroom. Make sure your child's name, homeroom teacher, and amount are shown on the envelope. Any paid lunches not used due to absences, etc., will be credited to your child's account. Students forgetting lunch money will be afforded the privilege of charging a regular lunch. This privilege is extended only twice until payment is received. If you feel you qualify for free or reduced lunch, please obtain an application in our main office. Charge Milk half pint-- $.30 Lunch-- $1.75 Children not buying lunch should be sure to bring their lunches (utensils included) with them in the morning. Dropping off lunch is discouraged as it causes a disruption in the classroom. Our cafeteria staff puts a great deal of time and effort in offering attractive and balanced meals for our students. Students are to exhibit good table manners in the lunchroom and to talk in low tones so
that everyone can enjoy his/her time in the lunchroom. School menus are sent home at the beginning of every month. Refund procedures Any request for a refund of prepaid lunch money for $10.00 or less will be given to the student or parent in cash. You will be required to sign a Student Nutrition Receipt. Any request for $10.01 or more will be issued a check by the district office and mailed to the parent's home address. A request form must be filed out. |
